From winning the all-star game to taking hold of the South division, the Medicine Hat Cubs had themselves quite the weekend on the road.
The Cubs were represented by six players at the HJHL’s all-star game Saturday in Strathmore, with the South division beating the North division 8-5.
Captain Kyle Woolridge, forwards Mason Osinski, Nolen Sutherland, defenceman Blake Girard and Austin Derzaph and goaltender Marlo DeRosa all represented the Cubs and the South division. Head coach Trent Derzaph and assistant coach Johnny Stehr were behind the South division bench.
