The Agra Risk Wheatland Kings had a mixed weekend homestand but climbed the Heritage Junior Hockey League South Division standings.
On Friday, Jan. 16, the Kings played the Mountainview Colts, with a special on-ice ceremony for forward Charlie Goll. Despite a goal from Trip Jensen, the Kings lost 3-1.
The following night, the Kings played the Medicine Hat Cubs, who lead the division. Trailing 2-0 heading into the third period, goals from Jensen and Trey Kam forced overtime. Chase Berg scored 1:32 into OT to give the Kings a 3-2 win.
