Although the Mountainview Colts had a fairly good start to the 2025-26 Heritage Junior Hockey League season, there is room for improvement as the team moves towards a good, hoped-for playoff run, says head coach Ron Doig.
The team is sporting a 16-9 record, good enough for third place in the north division, behind Sylvan Lake Wranglers and the Red Deer Vipers.
The Didsbury-based Colts wrapped up the 2025 portion of the season on Dec. 13.
Second-year head coach Doig says doing better against Sylvan and Red Deer is key moving into 2026.
