The herd is marching onto the second round of the playoffs with pep in its step.
The Carstar Okotoks Bisons dispatched the Coaldale Copperheads 8-2 Friday night to complete a two-game sweep in the best-of-three Heritage Junior Hockey League opening round set backed by a raucous crowd at the Murray Arena.
“We know they were going to come out desperate and we didn’t want to go back to their barn tomorrow,” said Bisons forward Seamus Garagan. “We just had to play more desperate in our barn with one game to finish it off.
