The Agra Risk Wheatland Kings recorded a split weekend on the road.
On Saturday (Nov. 15), the Kings were in Coaldale to face the Copperheads. Despite a close game, a second-period goal by the Copperheads proved the difference in a 6-5 loss for the Kings.
The following day, the Kings took on the Ponoka Stampeders. Although the Stampeders scored once in the first period, the Kings dominated the rest of the way and skated to an 8-1 win.
Four of the Kings’ eight goals came from Cole Tweit.
