It’s back even in an HJHL heavyweight playoff matchup.
The top-seed Medicine Hat Cubs skated to a 4-3 road victory Sunday over the fifth-seed Carstar Okotoks Bisons to knot up the best-of-five Heritage Junior Hockey League South Division semifinal at one game apiece.
Jeffrey Guo, on a well placed wristed shot in the first, Zephyr Laplante, on a chance in tight in the second, and Chase Syal, on a tic-tac-toe finish in the third, provided the offence for Okotoks.
