The Cochrane Generals have secured a bye into the second round of the HJHL playoffs, but they’ll enter on the road after finishing third in the south division.
Cochrane cruised past the High River Flyers 7-3 on the road Friday, but came up short in a tense 5-3 loss to the Okotoks Bisons in front of a packed home crowd Sunday.
The Gens will face the Strathmore Wheatland Kings when the second round opens Feb. 10.
