The High River Flyers will wrap up their season at home Friday, Jan. 30, marking the end of a challenging year for the HJHL team.
While the Flyers did not qualify for the playoffs this season, president and assistant coach Tim Bradbury said the effort from the team never wavered.
“The season didn’t really quite pan out the way we had anticipated or hoped,” Bradbury said. “But in saying that, the guys have given 100 percent in every game, and that’s all we could ask for from them.”
Bradbury pointed to player development as one of the biggest positives from the year, highlighting several younger players who took major steps forward.
