A unique goaltending duel brought out the best in the newest Bisons netminder.
Okotokian Derrick Ford backstopped the Carstar Okotoks Bisons to a 4-1 win over the Agra Risk Wheatland Kings, his former team, with former Bisons netminder Connor White in goal for the visitors in Friday’s Heritage Junior Hockey League clash at the Murray Arena.
“It was a little weird playing against former teammates, most of them are my buddies,” Ford said. “But I just tried to stay focused, tried to make saves.
