Agra Risk Wheatland Kings general manager Cody Holdaway says the club has plenty of top-end talent but needs to start playing as a unit. About 10 new players joined the roster this season, though many already knew each other. “When you put the same jersey on as the guy next to you, you’re going to war together,” Holdaway said. Off the ice, the Goals for Cancer program has raised close to $700 for the Canadian Cancer Society, with Agra Risk Solutions donating $20 for every Kings goal. The club will also hold its annual Hockey Fights Cancer game, with an online donation link to come. Holdaway credited Kings fans, with home crowds usually between 400 and 600, as some of the best in the league. The Kings play in High River on Friday and host the Cannex Cochrane Generals on Halloween.
