The Airdrie Techmation Thunder beat the Rocky Rams 6-4 at home on Oct. 16, with six different players scoring and Hudson Brett making 23 saves. Two days later in High River, they lost 4-1 to the Flyers, with Zachery Hall scoring Airdrie’s only goal and Lucas Veal stopping 26 of 30 shots. Head coach Kris Kennedy said consistency across the lineup is still the team’s biggest challenge. At 4-3, the Thunder are third in the North Division behind Red Deer and Mountainview. Tyson Sandhu leads the team with 10 goals and 14 points. Airdrie hosts the Red Deer Vipers tonight at 8 p.m. at Ron Ebbesen Arena, then visits the unbeaten Mountainview Colts on Saturday.
