The Carstar Okotoks Bisons drew up a picture-perfect northern road trip.
Okotoks made quick work of the Rocky Rams and Ponoka Stampeders on consecutive nights with a combined 21 goals for in a pair of decisive road victories to improve to 10-6-2 in the Heritage Junior Hockey League.
On Friday, the Bisons rode a five-goal opening stanza to an 8-3 result over the Rams on Nov. 14.
Connor Smith paced the offence with two goals and an assist, captain Hunter Cobb, Chaz Lazar and Brandon Jarman added a goal and an assist with Jeffrey Guo, Steen Brown and Jakob Semeniuk adding the other markers, the latter on a penalty shot.
