The Airdrie Techmation Thunder are back on home ice Friday night.
They look to keep their good start to the season going as the Red Deer Vipers visit the Ron Ebbesen Arena Friday for an 8 p.m. puck drop.
On Saturday, the Thunder makes the trip up to Ponoka to take on the Stampeders.
This previous weekend, the Thunder picked up a win and a loss.
On Friday, the Thunder had their home opener against the Cochrane Generals and picked up a 6-4 win. Goals were scored by Tyson Sandhu (2), Soren Nicol, Justin Campbell, Ryder Terpstra and Kaelan Weisbeck. Austin White stopped 30 of the 34 shots he faced.
